I copied this from my thread over at XWAUP.... I thought this was important........ ;D Quote from linx310: quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yea the only problem that i wish i could find a fix for is the music looping bug... Any one have any ideas? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For everyone with Intel Pentium 4 system with Hyper-Threading on their system... Thanks to Avenger-One found this idea in another board fourm thread... see thread: www.xwaupgrade.com/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=10&t=000568 last page (pg. 2) .... I hope this helps!! It worked for me!! Edit: Oh forgot to say this... Just be sure to enable Hyper-Threading back on in BIO's, after you play XWA.... Sincerely, rogue518

Thanks Rogue. Yes, you're right, but that's not what we're refering to regarding the music problem. What's actually happening is that once the mission begins the music begins to hang (or loop endlessly). I personally have had on occasion the exiting "hyperspace" music hang continuously right when the mission begins. Other times the inflight music hangs itself.
The overall goal is to get the complete music song(s) to loop after they play all the way through, not just the first few notes. Michal (Czech x-wing series site) successfully was able to get some of the Non-inflight music to loop using Wildstar's IMCgen utility. In summary, we're still testing to see where the loop instruction needs to be embedded within any of the Inflight *.imc music files. Try by error approach, many files, and takes a long time to do.
