Hi guys. I'm a Tie Fighter fan from the time it was released, which means I am old enough for being the father of most of you. I have enjoyed XWA for a long time too, although I also think it never reached its predecessor punch, I always thought it was a product released in a hurry, leaving lots of features unfinished. Now you took -almost - the best of both games and I am very grateful for it.
Some users have complained of the difficulties of attacking capital ships with warheads, but I have finished all missions in the first release without any problems. There is more than one way to skin a cat, and saturation fire or finding dead angles - corvettes have a ridiculous dead angle just in the stern - are good solutions, which in the end make the game more realistic and enjoyable than old TF.
Obviously, there is still some dark spots due to the faults in XWA engine: I don't know how will you re-balance Missile Boat's missions, but I suppose they will need some kind of starfighter coverage if the "overdrive" speed is not available anymore, but we'll know that in due time.
For me the only bug - besides the closed s-foils one in the Gunboat, which has already been discussed here - was the briefing speeches, which remained the original XWA ones. You probably have discussed it lots of times too, and it could have been mended deleting or renaming some file, but I just didn't read it.

Oh, I forgot: How would you call warhead transports for docking and reloading? I reloaded in XWA fashion, going back to my mothership, but I thought that if you did'nt delete the transports they must be there for some reason.

Thanks. Briefings should work if your Int'l CD version has the same file naming conventions as English UK/US versions. The scripting basically extracts and converts the .voc files to .wav. But it also copies the WAVE folder from your CD to your HD, which is why there is some excess XWA briefings that play but shouldn't. Just delete those for now. DS and Linx are experts in this area, but I think he's already addressed this in one of these older threads.
The utility craft (if present in a mission) should automatically come to you (depends if conditions are set in the mission file). I forget, but I think you can also target them and press "CTR" + "B" (or "Shift" + "B" ?) and they will come to your craft if you set throttle to zero. If you can list the specific battle & mission number we can make a note and look into it later.
