Yes, do yo know how to solve this problem, it would be good to have everything in the same mission.lst. Couple more issues here: 1. I can't let hint voice work, file name for briefing is e.g. b090102.wav, and win is w090102, but I just can't let hint work. All hint wave files are named started with h. 2. Don't know how to extract motion pictures from Tie CD, and don't know how to make a link with battle accomplishment.

I've tested the missions yesterday. Good work. Especially the voices. (some of them are missing, but whatever) I'm sorry but I don't know how. Perhabs the people on www.xwaupgrade.com can help us. Then I played Ol's Order of the Sith missions for Darksaber's Ultimate Craft pack, I didn't have such problems. Perhabs you need a flagship you can return to. I.e. in battle 8 it would be the VSD Sceltor, in B9 the ISD Adarga, in B10 and 11 the ISD Grey Wolf, in Battle 12 the ISD Garret and in Battle 13 the ISD Garret, the FRG Maru Ki and the ISD Grey Wolf. 1. As far as I know, original xwa missions also don't have hint voices. 2. I don't think that they have been extracted: They have been captured using a program called "FRAPS". If fraps doesn't work or something, then I recommend that you capture the videos using DosBox's internal video capturer. btw, Dosbox can't capture General midi sounds, so you'll have to use either 4op-fm or Gravis Ultrasound. Here are some examples which have been captured and uploaded by myself: de.youtube.com/watch?v=xPzTzSaXRJsde.youtube.com/watch?v=dyazHq_MHAY&feature=userde.youtube.com/watch?v=cA0WCjWzyIA&feature=user

What happened is slot 50 in mission.lst original mission.lst shows 50 * 1B7M2W.tie !MISSION_50_DESC!Phase 2: That Thing's Operational! This mission will not go to briefing as its setting, so even in tftc version, you will not see briefing either, any slot other than this works fine, but will have to creat mission icons all over again, I might try just skip slot 50 see how it works. But in this case, I will need to create all mission icons which I do not know how to extract them from Tie CD.
As for cutscences, TFTC can play avi files, if you can generate them into avi format, then replace original TFTC cutscenes will be very easy.
Please let me know which files are missing, I checked again, it shouldn't. There are totally 68 missions (40 for B8-13, 28 training) so 71 files on missions dir, 68 on wave\frontend 68 dirs on wave\missionvoice and 68 lst files on that.

Strange. I never had that problem.
DosBox's internal video capturer generates avi files. So it shouldn't be a problem.
There are 71 files in the missions folder and 1948 files and 138 folders in the ave folder.

I got tie CD which is already not a dos version. Can you extract them and upload? By the way, B11M3 in wave\frontend\b11m3, s110302.wav ~ s110304.wav file name was wrong, please rename them to s110301.wav ~ s110303.wav. Then officer briefing voice will work.
Officer briefing voice can only heard as you enter battle, so the bug was happened after I finished certain missions, I will have to use pilot editor to by-pass that mission. For example after binished B11M5, the pilot can not enter the game unless use pilot editor to change its statuse to next missions. This is what happened when I intend to put all missions into the same lst file.
Fro B11M5, I tried to edit mission.lst to by-pass slot 32, then that which fininshed B11M5 can enter to B12M6. I think it's the nature of XWA and TFTC and I do not have much ability to change that. As long as mission is playable with voices, I'm satisfied. Hopefully. TFTC team can work on it and give us a nicer patch.

TIECD is the second DOS version. I assume you mean TIE95. I think I can capture them. If your PC is strong enough, you can also capture your TIE95 videos using FRAPS or any similar program. btw. I've just renamed the wav files
I also hope so. But I think it's unlikely: Ol and Lynx310 haven't logged in for years, Darksaber has temporarely retired and Bman hasn't much time.
edit: I've just tried to capture the battle 8 end video, but I have problems: The videos don't play proberbly. I can only hope to get it work proberbly when I sit o a better PC. I'm sorry waylon, but it looks like that it is up to you.

My PC is okay, I tried to use FRAPS and works, but no sound. The easiest way is to use a microphone to record it as capturing, of course, quality will not be good.
I think I know how to make cutscenses and mission icon works, but it might take a while.
I read about your post multiplayer, I still have trouble to get internet game work, not even two PCs at home with wireless connection, this was the first reason I was digging up information about this over the internet and found here, which I'm glad.

btw. FAPS only captures video for 30 seconds unless you buy it. Have you checked your sound settings in FRAPS? Perhabs there you can find an answer to your sound problem. If not, I recommend capturing the sounds using Audacity. I also use it and it works fine.

Good work, waylon. I've tested it yesterday. I've flown battle 12 mission 6 where you have to ID ships during a summit. Sad that the SLAMS are not featured in XWA so you had to improvised. You did it well by refitting the Missile boat with a decoy beam to avoid missiles. btw. I've just announced the release of your expansion pack at the xwaupgrade forums so that others besides me also get it.

Looks good and I will also test this out. Note that there is a way to fix the briefings: In corrupted briefings there is a line called Icon#65535 not linked to any Icon # to box. Just delete it in Briefing editor.
Also I have alternative mission numbers that worked for me (except after last mission in battle 13 where it crashed).
B8 - 45, 46, 47, 48, 54, 55 B9 - 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61 B10 - 63, 64, 65, 66, 75, 76 B11 - 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 85, 95 B12 - 96, 97, 98, 99, 100, 101, 102 B13 - 103, 104, 110, 111, 112, 115, 116, 120

Wow, thanks for being patient and contributing your work. It will do for now, allowing others to play the expansion until the real thing is done. I'm still working on ISD-II.
As for cutscenes, I'd like to replace them with more realistic high-quality scenes using the xwaupgrade opts and backgrounds etc. Or possibly adding new additional scenes in between battles to enhance the story line/plots etc. Characters will be tough.
