shortly after entering hyperspace on the first gunboat level, the game crashes. I can get to the nav bouy, and enter the new system, but in a manner of seconds, the game crashes.
I also replaced the gunboat with the xwaupgrade version, because the tftc version wouldn't fire cannons because of unopenable sfoils.
I'm running Windows xp professional
I'm using x wing alliance version 1.0.0.1
I'm using the tie 95 version of tie fighter
my computer has an athalon 64 2.8 ghz process 2 gigs of ram two nvidia 7800 gtx cards in SLI, but i disble SLI for tftc (that's an xwa issue, not tftc).

Nice computer Ok, first of all is your copy of XWA the english language version or a foreign language version? There have been some issues with the FL one that we'll hopefully get sorted soon. Secondly you should install the 2.02 patch for XWA - you can find it at lucasfiles. Then reinstall the TFTC and gunboat and hopefully you'll be good to go.

Well at least I'm not the only one. I've also tried the level at 1600X1200 and 1024X786 resolutions, no change.
I also have all the graphics options on and at max.
I hope that helps

It *may* be a problem with the mission, or rather the installation of the mission. Sometimes XWA missions can become unstable for no explicable reason. Try uninstalling the TFTC and reinstalling it. If that doesn't work try uninstalling both the TFTC and XWA and start again. If that doesn't work... I'll need to think again Sorry you can't play, hopefully we'll get this fixed soon.

It *shouldn't* make a difference. What order did you install things in? If you installed the upgrades after the TFTC try reinstalling it.

Actually mods that modfy the EXE do create problems since are mods is looking for default values.
Rizzeld trying installing the mod on a clean version of XWA with no mods.
As mentioned in several threads though...you must download the XWA Upgrade Gunboat and install it after you install the mod...
