Hey up,
I've tried installing the files, and they seemed to go fine. I had the XWA 1 and 2 discs, and also TIEcd.
However, I evidently didn't have enough free space on the hard drive. Just a bare fraction of a pixel left to go on the installation progress bar, and I get a popup message saying it failed to copy and the process stopped.
When I checked my hard drive space, I realized it was down to 8 kb. My initial reaction is "#@$%(^*$)(" as you can probably imagine.
Anyway, where do I go from here. I can easily free up more space by deleting old files, and I think maybe 100 MB or so should do it. The install process was almost done anyway when it failed, and the extra space would help the hard drive access its files.
But do I need to uninstall stuff first before I try installing them again? I read through a lot of your supporting files, and nowhere did I see an estimate of how much space I need to have free. I don't mind that particularly but it would have helped me avoid this situation now.
