Someone reported a bug on XWAUP site that when you fly for example, a Tie Bomber, and "you fire your cannon lasers, torpedoes or missiles are also launched at the same time". Yes this will be fixed.
This may be caused by either the tie .opt files being altered (i.e.-- weapon hardpoints etc. within the opt files--since certain missions require it), or the Installer's script alters the ship's stats within your game executable.

I made an EXE patch for this for the training missions so it's an easy bugfix if it's been left out.
The problem comes from the XWA TF and TI not having missile hardpoints but being equipped with missiles for some TF missions.

Just had a thought, if the patch is included in the TFTC then it will be overwritten if the XWAU TF and TI or UCP are installed after it.
Try uninstalling the TFTC and reinstalling it.

I have recently done that very thing(the uninstall reinstall thing installed xwa then ucp then any other opts I wanted then installed TFTC), and the Tie Bomber still fires P-torps when you use your lasers. On the up side it does make it very easy to blow cap ships into the next galaxy ;D Just a quick question..Does the T/B you supply with TFTC also carry conc missiles?? If not then I'll have to reinstall again cause I obviously muffed it up again!!

You know, it would be really helpful for people who just want to fix a minor problem like this the ability to modify the missions in the first place so stupid little glitches dont put a hex on the whole thing. Sorry, just a little frustrated

Umm, you can modify all this stuff yourself (although you can't release anything based on our work without permission, personal use is fine though). You just need AlliEd to edit the missions and one of the craft editors to sort out the problem above. Look at www.darksaber.gaylenol.com for downloads. This problem of the TB firing torps as lasers shouldn't happen at all though as the TFTC doesn't alter the TB slot at all (as far as I know). And no, I think that the TB just carries Torps (or whatever the main loadout is).

?? Perhaps if you turned of the read only flag on the missions your problem will be solved... For those that have this issue could you please list what mission you experience it on? It doesnt do it on mine and I am just trying to rule out whats wrong.

TiE Bomber firing missles alongside lasers is caused by installing the x4 TiE Bomber (This is done automatically when you install the Ultimate Craft Pack).
Simple solution is download the TiE Bomber stand-alone and install it with the default weapons loadout option, it worked for me.
